VVCBSE senior KG pink colour day celebration 23-24

VVCBSE Blushing Beauties of senior KG celebrated the Pink day on 20th February 2024. Children were dressed up in different tints of pink. Pink represents friendship, harmony and inner peace. It is a colour of universal love of oneself and often associated with innocence of childhood. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with balloons, ribbons, soft toys to provide the students opportunities to have clear sense of the colour.The little kids enjoyed the fun filled activities and this the purpose of pink colour day celebration was successfully fulfilled.

VVCBSE junior KG Yellow colour day celebration 23-24

VVCBSE junior KG cutie pies celebrated the Yellow day on 20th of February 2024. Students were dressed up in different shades of yellow. Yellow is bright and attention grabbing and is the colour of summer day as sun shines its warm light on us. Yellow makes us feel happy excited and joyful. The bright colour makes us feel optimistic even amidst uncomfortable life situations. Classroom was decorated with yellow colour craft works, dolls , toys and play things liked by the students.The little ones enjoyed the colour day celebration.

FEAST OF KINDER & GRADUATION DAY CELEBRATIONS

Feast of kinder day was celebrated by our LKG kids on 1st of February to learn the habit of sharing the knowledge of what they have with their peer kids
Kinders are blooming buds and gave us a delicious mind blowing performances like story telling , slogan recitation, fancy dress,solo dance thirukural recitation, fashion show and so on
The very next day feast of kinder day and graduation ceremony was celebrated on 2nd February for UKG kids.we had welcome dance welcome speech . Solo dance , slogan recitation and so on..
Our correspondent madam distributed convocation certificates to all students as they complete their KG session and move on to the next level.
With national anthem the function came to an end.

PONGAL CELEBRATIONS 23-24

Pongal Celebration:Pongal is celebrated as a thanks giving festival and it is a festival of harvest.  We thank sun God, farmers and cattle for the agricultural abundance.

We Vijaya Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School staff and students celebrated Pongal on 12th of January 2024 in a traditional manner. All students were in traditional dress.  Students performed various cultural events like Pongal song, dance, speech and silambam to evoke and expose the student's inner talents. A big pot of pongal was prepared by students with the help of  teachers. Pooja was performed by our Correspondent madam offering thanks to sun God. Both students and teachers sang devotional songs and recited Sivapuranam praising Lord Shiva. Sweet pongal was distributed to all. It was really a memorable day. The pongal festival celebration in our school is a true manifestation of our rich culture and tradition.

Navaratri celebration & Vijayadashami 2023

Navaratri celebration & Vijayadashami 2023.
              Navaratri started on October 15th and ended on October 24th. Nine days were devoted to the devotion of Maa Durga and her nine incarnations. It’s a time of prayer and rejuvenation.
              On the first day of Navratri following Ganapathi Pooja welcoming ritual was performed for goddess Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, .We also built odd numbered nine steps of Golu in wooden planks in our school temple.
        The Golu was predominantly displayed with depictions from ours as, court life, royal processions, Ratha yathras, kitchen utensils,Surya Ratha, Krishna & Rathai, Saibaba doll and various life forms.A kuthuvilaku was lit in the middle. Devotional hymns and slogans were chanted.
Every day students and some of the parents visited the Golu.
          Students of VVCBSE decorated their house boards in this Navratri occasion. On the 10th day Vijayadashami was celebrated. Special Pooja was done where evil was destroyed by God which was a mark of new and prosperous beginning.

Annual sports meet 23-24

Annual sports meet 23-24:

We Vijaya vidhyalaya senior secondary school students & staff celebrated 13th Annual sports meet on 19,th August 2023.
It is the day when students are freed from their classrooms.It is a game fest. Students happily welcomed our chairman Mr. Ezhilvannan sir and correspondent madam Mrs Vijayalakshmi . Our band troop was in elegant white guarded the chairman sir & Correspondent madam to the dias.scout and guide students and the four house teams marched majestically. The Olympic torch was lit and the leaders raised their right hand for the oath. Our correspondent madam declared the sports meet open.
Various activities like yoga, Karatae, Silambam were performed on the ground.Students of grade 1&2 performed a colourful mass drill with balloons.students of grade 3 to 5 performed  a mass drill with umbrella depicting the theme ‘ Unity in diversity’ Students of grade 6-9 performed aerobic mass drill which emphasised the theme‘’Humanity is the greatest moral value ‘’ and it is not being human but in being humane.
Various on spot final events were conducted for KG to XII. Prize winners were honoured with medals and certificates by our chairman sir & Correspondent madam. Overall trophy was won by ‘Bhaskara’house.The function came to an end with national anthem.

KAMARAJAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS 2023-24

Kamarajar birthday celebration:

We celebrated 121st birthday of Shri. Kamarajar on 15.07.2023. It was an auspicious day for children because even now we remember the great deeds done by him. He was the king maker of India and remembered even today for his important deeds towards education.

His birthday is celebrated as "Educational development day"

As a part of Kamarajar birthday, we organized various competitions for students of KG to 12th.

Fancy dress, English and Tamil elocution, essay writing and art competitions were conducted.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS 23-24

International yoga day:

International yoga day was celebrated with great pride on june 21st to promote the numerous benifits of practicing yoga. This serves as a platform to raise awareness about the holistic approach to well-being that yoga offers.

The main theme for this year is "Yoga for Vasudhaiva kudumbagam" which represents our shared desire for "one earth, one family and one future".

Students participated in the various asanas like suryanamaskara, vajrasana, thirikonaasana, tadasana and so on.

Students leart that yoga can remove stress and meditate our body and mind. Resulting in a better health and better mind.

GRADUATION CEREMOMY - UKG 22-23

Vijaya vidhyalaya senior secondary school Senior KG kids celebrated the feast of kinder day and Graduation ceremony on 3 rd December 2023.The main aim of this function is to show case the individual talents of the students on stage.
     We not only look into academic part , we also encourage overall development of the child.
The function started with prayer song , followed by welcome dance.
Dharshan of senior KG welcomed the gathering.
Kinders gave a delicious mind blowing performances-like thirukural recitation,story telling, fancy dress , slogan recitation, solo dance and so on….
Graduation ceremony is awarding of a diploma to a student by an educational institution celebrating the end of pre- primary classes.
It’s the way to build up student’s confidence and make their achievements.
Our Tiny tots of pre primary dressed in graduation robes and caps were awarded with graduation certificates.
The function came to an end with national anthem.

74th Republic Day celebration & Annual sports Meet 2023
We VVSSS celebrated our 74th Republic Day with much pride,Enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.Our chairman Mr. Ezhilvannan hoisted the national flag and we all felt proud to be born as an Indian.
We also celebrated our Annual sports meet on the same day.it was a games fest.students happily welcomed our chairman and Correspondent of VV SSS Mr. Ezhilvannan and Mrs. E. Vijayalakshmi. Our band troop in elegant white guarded our chief guest to the dias.school pupil leader led the entire troop followed by scouts & guides various house teams with their captains marched majestically.The Olympic torch was lit and our honourable chairman sir declared sports meet open.
Various activities like yoga, Karatae , Silambam were performed on the ground. Students of grade 3 to 5 performed a mass activity representing a theme ‘’Unity is strength’’.
Students of grade 6th to 9th performed a group activity emphasising a theme “Save trees “.
Various on spot final events and group game like kabaddi were conducted in the ground. Prize winners were honoured with medals and certificates by our chairman and correspondent of VVSSS. Overall trophy was given to ‘Bhaskara’ house. The function came to an end with national anthem.

PONGAL CELEBRATION 2022-23 IN VVCBSE

Pongal is an ancient festival of south India particularly among Tamils. It is basically a harvest festival that is celebrated for four days in Tamilnadu thanking sun God for agricultural abundance.
We Vijaya vidhyalaya senior secondary school staff and students celebrated Pongal on 13th of January in a traditional manner. Both boys and girls were dressed up in dhotis and pattu Pavadai.  A pot of Pongal was cooked and campus was decorated with flowers and colourful Kolams.Delicious sweet Pongal was served to each one of them hoping to remove evil deeds and flourish in the upcoming year.
A variety of entertaining programmes like dance performances were done by boys , girls and staff of VVCBSE. Pongal speech, Pongal song, Silambam were the highlights of today’s program depicting the importance of Pongal.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2022-23

It gives us a great sense of joy to organise the two events Children’ s day celebration and science expo 2022 under the same roof.

A grand science and art exhibition was organised in our school auditorium on 18 th of November 2022.About 500 science projects both working and dummy models were displayed in various departments like language, English, Math, Science, Social and Art& craft.  Very innovative projects like Siruvani water treatment plant, drone,Robo,automatic mobile charger, generating electricity using gravity mortar were the highlights of projects displayed depicted the talents within the students.

This science exhibition is extra special for us because it is entirely the efforts of our students.

Science expo provides opportunities to students and    help them to reach their potential. Students get chance to enrich their skills, be empowered to learn, grow and explain their passion and improve scientific skills.

Students of Vijaya vidhyalaya senior secondary school showcased their innovative scientific skills under the guidance of their teachers.

The best part of it was they have huge thoughts and showed classic creations.

Diwali celebration at VVCBSE school
Diwali the Festival of Lights is celebrated every year with great zeal and enthusiasm. It signifies good over despair.
VVCBSE students celebrated Diwali in four house groups namely Aryabhatta, Baskara, Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan had a theme of eco- friendly diwali this year.
They decorated their house boards with biodegradable materials.
They made a resolution that they ban on fireworks to green crackers to reduce the pollution level

RED COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION
         Red is the most popular colour used in flags in the world. Red is a colour of passion, love and energy.
Red is the colour of good luck in Asia.
With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of red colour our KG wing celebrated “RED DAY” on19th October 2022.
      A day dedicated to red colour was marked with children dressed in different tints of red. Attractive red coloured toys like racing cars, teddy bear, dolls, balls, balloons, flowers, fruits, crowns, masks made the learning environment active and sportive.
Children enjoyed the activity and they were happy through out the day.

Navaratri celebration

Navaratri celebration
Navaratri2022 started on September 26th and ends nine days later on October 4th. Navaratri Golu dolls arrangement was designed to reiterate the spirit of good winning over evil. The dolls were arranged in nine steps depicting various life forms.
Saraswati Pooja was celebrated with festivity in our school temple on 5 th of October. Saraswati the goddess of knowledge, music, arts was born on the day of Vasant panchami. On this occasion our chairman,correspondent, teachers, non- teaching staff gathered in the temple and did Pooja for Saraswati. Dussehra is considered an auspicious time to begin educational or artistic pursuit’s especially for children.

Independence day celebrations :We celebrated 75 years of independence on Aiugust 15 2022 in our school premises.Our honourable correspondent,Mrs. Vijayalakshmi hoisted the tricolour national flag with pride and honour. We had a grand march past and many cultural programmes like dance , mass drill, speech , patriotic songs were a partofIndependence Day celebration. Our chairman Thiru . Ezhilvannan gave an inspirational speech to the gathering. Sweets were distributed and programme came to an end with national anthem.

Coimbatore Book fair festival was organised at Codissia trade fair complex. As a part of this programme various competitions like Tamil& English elocution for grade 8-12 were conducted.Our students of grade IX - XII actively participated in all competitions and delivered a good message to the audience. We celebrated 120th Birthday of our former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu and the Kingmaker Mr. Kamarajar in our school on 15-07-2022 with great reverence. The students of KG, Primary, Middle school, High school, Senior Secondary performed various programmes commemorating the ideals of Kamarajar. His Birthday continues to be celebrated as “Educational Development Day”.
As a part of Kamarajar’s Birthday  we organized various competitions for students of KG to XII. Students of KG dressed up like flowers, fruits and national leaders.  Various competitions like essay writing, elocution, drawing were conducted in our premises. On this special occasion we remember the endless service of the great leader.

June 21 is celebrated as International Yoga Day every year. The day has been dedicated to spreading awareness about India’s age-old practice of yoga.
Theme for the celebration of International Yoga Day this year is “Yoga for humanity”.
The campus community including students and teachers participated in the event. Principal of the school emphasized on importance of yoga, through which we can make all the body parts healthy and perfect. Before starting the session yoga instructor concised  the role of yoga in daily life and today work culture.
Pranayam, Padmasana, Shashankasana, Shavasana, Parvatasana were done by students. Students felt the feeling pf relaxation and stress-freeness

We started the function with Tamil thai vazhthu, Flag song, Oath was taken by the gathering. Our Chairman & Correspondent of Vijaya Vidhyalaya Institutions hoisted the National flag and gave an inspiring speech to the gathering. A Patriotic song was sung by our teachers. The function came to an end with National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to all. On this day let’s promise that we will enrich and preserve our heritage, our ethos and our treasure. Our boys and girls were so colourful dressed up in traditional dresses like dhotis, pattu pavadai. The campus was decorated with flowers and ma kolam. A pot of pongal was cooked and served to all. Students, staff were so happy sharing their love with each other hoping to remove all evil deeds and flourish well in the upcoming year.
